Spring Break Packing List

March 1, 2018

Hello everyone! It has been a minute since I did a blog post! I haven't really been that busy, I just got into a creativity rut. There really haven't been any topics that have inspired me or any tips I have felt pressed to share recently. But, with the warm weather we had all last week, my mind is in spring break mode. Maybe even summer mode at this point! I thrive in the warm weather and that got my creativity sparked!

Spring break is just two weeks away for us Clemson students!! Praise the Lord! So, today I wanted to share some items from my packing list another Spring Break trip to Rosemary. You can check out last year's here.

Every single one of these items is found on Amazon Prime. I am prime-obsessed! Amazon has anything you could every need, and it is so easy to browse through and find new, affordable products to try, especially if you are bored in class. It is so nice to have my package arrive in just two days with free shipping, plus getting access to other Amazon outlets like Amazon video (which I am using to watch Downton Abbey right now!!).  Check out the items below and click on the names to shop them!

Kiss My Face SPF 30 - I have recently felt convicted about my lack of sunscreen use in the past. Maybe it's because I have noticed a "fine line" develop on my forehead?? Anyways, this sunscreen promises to provide a non-greasy, breathable formula that doesn't leave a white cast on your face. That means, not only is it perfect for days at the beach, but it is also perfect to wear as a moisturizer under your makeup!

Sun Bum 3 in 1 Leave-In Conditioner - I just got my hair redone, and I was looking up ways to prolong the color for as long as possible. Multiple websites recommended a UV protectant spray. This Sun Bum spray does that and more! It conditions, detangles, and smells soooo amazing. The spray is light and fine enough to spray on dry hair (even though it recommends damp hair) to keep your hair from getting damaged by the sun!

Stainless Steel Water Bottle - I can not go to the beach without a good water bottle that will actually keep my water cold for

more than 30 minutes. I have used S'wells in the past, but as I browsed Amazon I came across this brand. Sooo many of the reviews (out of the 1,500) claim that these are just like S'wells. But, they are half the price! There are many patterns, colors, and sizes to choose from.

Embroidered Floppy Sun Hat - Eugenia Kim was the first one to do these embroidered sun hats, but these from Amazon are like a tenth of the price! There are also so many different sayings! I'm just a sucker for anything that plays on the word beaches hahaha! If you want something not so big and floppy, this one is a great alternative that still protects your face!

Distressed Denim Shorts - I love a good pair of denim shorts. Use them as a cover up for a walk to the beach, throw on a white t-shirt and sandals for a day of bike riding and shopping, or pair them with wedges and a statement handbag or necklace for a night out!

Palm Leaf One Piece - Have you ever heard of the brand Cupshe? It is a super cheap bathing suit company! I have kind of always been scared to order from them in the past because they are based out of China. But, I recently ordered two bathing suits from there, and they were true to size and great quality!! They also arrived in about a week, which was impressive for the distance they traveled. Well, Cupshe pretty much has their entire store on Amazon Prime!! This Palm Leaf bikini is so fun and can go for any destination! If you want to see a review about Cupshe, check out my friend Larkin's blog here.

Striped Canvas Beach Bag - My favorite thing about this bag (besides the straw accents and the nautical vibes) is the fact that it has a zipper!! I always associate beach totes with floppy, open bags. This one, though, is structured and still screams beach!

Beach Read - I have way too many book suggestions to put them all in this post. This one (pictured) though is so good! It keeps you on your toes and you are always wondering how it will turn out. This was also one of the best fictional books I have ever read. This is my favorite book of all time. Check out my two book roundups here and here

Tortoise Sunglasses - Y'all, these sunglasses are legit. They have all the UV protection you need, they are $33, have all five star reviews, and they are on Amazon prime. Too good to be true, right? I also loveeee the gray tortoise with the gold accents!

Hope y'all enjoyed my Amazon Prime Spring Break shopping list! If you have any ideas/requests for posts, let me know!
