Ipsy Glam Bag Roundup 2

August 31, 2017

Ipsy bags are so fun! I have discovered some of the best products by getting these in my mailbox every month, and who doesn't love getting a bag full of surprises? Today I am sharing a roundup of the products I have received in my past four Ipsy bags and then talking about my most favorite products from those. These favorite products are the ones that I will buy again when my sample size runs out, so I truly believe they are great products!

I love the intention that went behind the May bag! May is the month that summer begins so Ipsy designed a fun bag patterned with treats for hot days. The fabric was also that clear, waterproof fabric which makes this bag super useful for when you are going to the pool or beach and need to pack a few essentials! From this bag, I loved the Jelly Pong Pong eyeshadow duo! I was skeptical because of the name (lol) but these are so smooth and pigmented. I love eyeshadows that you can just throw on and that one shade is the perfect amount. These two shades are exactly that and I think they will transition to fall well!

I've talked previously in a post about how I wished I could find an eyeliner that I love and this Endless Silky Eye Pen by Pixi is so good! It is so black, goes on so easily, and it is also to blend out (for those times I make a mistake). It lasted through swimming and sweating and long days! I will definitely be repurchasing this!

I think this bag was my favorite out of this roundup! The Balm Cosmetics Balm Springs blush is so pretty! It is one of those perfect, universal blush colors. It isn't sparkly, but it is not flat either. It is the perfect satin blush that makes you look healthy and glowy.

The Skone Cosmetics Tattooed Eyeliner was another good one! I loved the Pixi eyeliner from the May bag, but when it is not the ideal eyeliner to use when going for the winged eyeliner look. This one is! I kind of just stamp the felt tip on the outer corner of my eye and finish with the perfect little flick! It is also super black and long-wearing! This was a full size product so I do not think I'll be running out any time soon.

The City Color Shimmer Shadow is also a full size package and it is huge! This eyeshadow is super pigmented! It is like a blinding, reflective gold color that went perfect with a summer tan.

Honestly, I had a bad attitude about the July bag. I did not like the design AT ALL which made me just assume I was going to have a bad bag. But, that wasn't true! There were two stand out products to me in this bag. The first was Nudestix Magnetic Matte Lip Color. This color is beautiful!! It is so pigmented, long wearing, and moisturizing (unlike other matte lip formulas)! It is a beautiful rose color that goes with every look and season.

The other standout product was Japonesque's Velvet Touch Primer. Usually, I only put primer in my T-zone because that is where I get oily and makeup tends to slide right off. When I tested this out, I put it all over my face and got so many compliments on my skin! It definitely has a velvet feel and makes your face smooth, but I would not say it makes your makeup last longer.

I loved how August came with three different bag designs! I got the "Good Vibes Only" one and love the gold tassel detail! I am obsessed with the Medium Face Contour Brush by Crown Brushes! I have not stopped using it since I got it. It is so soft, but not too soft because it is also dense and picks up a good amount of product. It blends out all of my bronzers so nicely and quickly so it is definitely a winner for me!

I also love The Balm Voyage eyeshadow in Willkommen. This is part of an eyeshadow palette, so unfortunately, I won't be able to repurchase it when I run out :( But anyways, it is the prettiest medium brown shade. It is not dark at all, but not too light. It has these tiny gold reflects in it that make it a unique shade! I would never call this a shimmer but wouldn't call it matte either. I'm telling you the particles are so finely milled that it makes this shade different than anything else that I own!

Those are my Ipsy bags from the past 4 months! As always, I unbox these on my Snapchat and give a little first impression on the products. If you are interested in watching them, make sure you follow my Instagram!
